Dr. Margaret Shirk
Dr. Margaret A. Shirk is an Optometrist who specializes in Family eye care and ocular disease with a focus on Glaucoma and anterior segment disease. She is a 1995 Graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, and a 2000 Graduate of The Illinois College of Optometry.
She lives in Pottstown with her

She lives in Pottstown with her husband Steve and two of her children, Holland and Grace. Her oldest daughter Alex is a graduate of Temple University and currently lives in Los Angeles.
Dr. Shirk enjoys spending time with her family and her patients and welcomes open conversation and visits in the office any time! In addition to working as an Optometrist, she is also a headshot photographer and television and film actress. You can find her on shows like Blue Bloods, Blacklist and FBI Most Wanted.

Dr. Maria Downey hails from upstate New York and is a proud alumna of Binghamton University and The State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Co-Management at OMNI Eye Specialists in Baltimore, Maryland.
In 1999, Dr. Downey and her husband relocated to Pennsylvania, eventually settling in western Chester County, where they have resided since 2006. With extensive experience in clinical practice and ocular disease management, Dr. Downey returned to private practice following her faculty appointment at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She has a particular focus on diabetic eye care and anterior segment disease.
Dr. Downey is an active member of the Berks Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography, and practicing martial arts.

Angela currently creates the majority of our lenses in house, allowing you to receive your new glasses quickly and with expert precision. She is here to help you with all of your needs including eyewear adjustments. In addition to her skill as an optician she is also very skilled at most insurances and can often answer any of your questions.
Angela currently resides in Exeter Township with her husband, Jack. She plays softball in the Berks Senior Softball League.
