We offer a warranty based upon the manufacturers warranty for the product you have purchased. Many of these warranties are for frame manufacturers defects ONLY and are applicable for ONE (1) year. If you break or damage a frame purchased from us within 1 year of purchase we will replace your frame at 50% of the retail cost. If you break or damage the frame after the 1 year point we will replace an available frame at 25% off retail price. If your frame is no longer available from the manufacturer you may choose a different frame, however we will need to remake your lenses as well and therefore you will receive 50% off of the complete pair. If you purchase a frame thru a vision plan your warranty is based off of their frame warranty offering.
We will make every effort to help you in an emergency.
Please note that frames that are "on sale" or in our special pricing category often do not come with a manufacturers, warranty, or frame replacement at 50% off, please ask us if your frame falls into this category.
Should you decide that you do not like the frame you have selected, and have not yet taken it home, we will credit you the amount of the frame purchase so that you may select and purchase a different style. The lenses will be remade at no additional charge, however your lens warranty (listed below) will be voided.
Should you decide that you do not like the frame you have selected and you HAVE taken the frame home, you may choose another frame within 30 days and receive a credit for 40% of the frame price. We are unable to resell a worn frame, but are happy to help you look your best! The original frame and lenses must be returned. Re-making the lenses to fit the new frame will void your lens warranty, and additional changes will be made at a 30% discount to you for new lenses. IF you have already used your lens warranty prior to the re-style you will receive a 30% discount on the new lenses.

We will remake your lenses within 60 days of your purchase for any reason, ONE time, at no additional charge to you.
This includes changes to add-ons, material, health related prescription changes or changes to your selection of frame.
Remakes that are the result of our error are performed at no charge to you within the 90 days. No changes will be made after 60 days.

If you are unable to adapt to your progressive lens we will replace it with another option ONE time within 60 days of purchase. NO refunds for extras such as transitions, tints, coatings or other items will be given, and the new lenses will be made to include all extras originally purchased.

We offer several degrees of warranty on our antireflective coatings including no warranty, 1 year and 2 year warranties. Please ask us about your options.

One year, One time replacement for the same frame and tint, under normal wear and tear on all scratch coated lenses.
You may purchase TR2 scratch coating and have a 2 year 2 time no charge warranty.
There are no warranties for damage done to lenses due to accident, such as dropping, stepping on, loss, pets or other such incidents.

Dr. Shirk will re-evaluate your prescription within 60 days of the original examination at no charge with the following exceptions:
Product may be returned in its original, unmarked, unopened packaging within 90 days of purchase. We will place a credit on the account good for the purchase of eyewear, exam or contact lenses. This does not apply to insurance orders.
ALL follow-up contact lens evaluations must be completed within 60 days of the original exam or will be subject to an additional fee.
A complete exam will be required if the last complete examination was more than 6 months prior. If you have misplaced, lost , or otherwise damaged your trial lens please call us immediately to have it replaced.
Exceptions to the follow-up rule are; backordered trials, or other problems at the discretion of Dr. Shirk.

NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN ON ANY OPTOMETRIC SERVICES FOR ANY REASON.
CUSTOM EYEWEAR ORDERS ARE NEVER REFUNDABLE. THE PRODUCT IS MADE JUST FOR YOU AND MAY NOT BE REFUNDED. PLEASE SEE OUR WARRANTIES ABOVE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION ON HOW WE HANDLE REMAKES.
